Is 22Bet Safe? Licence, Payouts and Real Player Reports (2026)

22Bet is one of those names that shows up everywhere: sponsorship banners, football forums, "best betting site" lists. Two things keep drawing people to it. One is a lobby so wide that it is hard to describe without sounding like a brochure. The other is an unusually relaxed attitude to crypto. This guide takes both seriously, and it also tells you where the claims stop and the checking should start, because a brand this widely advertised deserves a few honest questions.

A wide lobby, a crypto-friendly cashier and a Curaçao licence

- 160+ providers (varies by country)
- Crypto accepted
Is 22Bet safe? The short answer
22Bet is a real, long-running betting brand, not a fake site, and it is reasonably safe to use if you take a few precautions. It is operated by TechSolutions Group N.V., it has traded since 2017, and our records hold a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence for it. That makes it a legitimate operator in the sense that a company, a licence and a working cashier stand behind it.
"Legit" is not the same as "regulated like a UK bookmaker." 22Bet is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, and Curaçao oversight is lighter than either. The complaints that recur in third-party reviews are about identity verification and slow first withdrawals, not about outright non-payment. We have not tested withdrawals ourselves.
Our verdict: reasonable to use if you accept a Curaçao licence, complete verification early and keep stakes you can afford to lose; a poor fit if you are in Great Britain or you want strong regulator protection. The checks below show exactly what is confirmed and what is not.
Why people pick it
- Very broad payment menu, including crypto and regional wallets
- Sportsbook and casino under one account, with a huge studio roster
- Deep football and esports markets, live streams where rights allow
- Fast crypto and e-wallet payouts as reported by reviewers
What to watch
- Curaçao licence only: no UKGC or MGA oversight
- First withdrawals can be delayed by identity checks
- Bonus terms vary by region and conflict between sources
- Not available in the UK and several other markets
22Bet in one paragraph
22Bet describes itself as an online betting and gaming brand that puts sports betting markets, casino games and live betting in one place. It is operated by TechSolutions Group N.V., it was founded in 2017, and it accepts players in many markets under a Curaçao licence. It is aimed at players who want a broad sportsbook, a large casino lobby and a very wide payment menu in a single account. It is not a UK-regulated brand, and that distinction matters a great deal if you live in Great Britain.

Is 22Bet safe and legit? Seven checks, with the evidence
"Safe" and "legit" bundle several different questions. Here they are separated, with what we could and could not confirm for each.
| Check | What we found | Status |
|---|---|---|
| 1. A real company behind it | TechSolutions Group N.V., operating since 2017; the operator name matches third-party reports | Confirmed |
| 2. A licence on file | Curaçao Gaming Authority, OGL/2024/590/0758 in our CMS; older sources cite 8048/JAZ | On file; register match not confirmed by us |
| 3. A strong regulator | No UKGC or MGA licence; Curaçao oversight is lighter and the new regime is young | Limited |
| 4. Working payments | 50 payment methods recorded, including crypto and regional wallets; deposits stated as instant | Recorded |
| 5. Withdrawals get paid | Third-party reviews report payouts after verification, with delays tied to ID checks; 22Bet states 0 to 48 hours | Reported, not tested by us |
| 6. Fair treatment of complaints | Complaints in reviews cluster around verification and withdrawals; our complaint-response score is 6.0 / 10, our lowest | Mixed |
| 7. Player-protection tools | Betting limits stated by 22Bet; one review lists more tools that we could not confirm | Partly confirmed |
Read the table as a profile, not a pass/fail. A "Confirmed" next to the company and "Limited" next to the regulator is exactly what a Curaçao-licensed brand looks like: a real business, with lighter outside accountability.
The licence: what it is and what we cannot confirm
Our CMS records a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence for 22Bet, number OGL/2024/590/0758. That format fits the new Curaçao regime: the National Ordinance on Games of Chance (the LOK) took effect on 24 December 2024, and the Curaçao Gaming Authority now licenses and supervises operators and suppliers, replacing the old master-and-sub-licence model.
The honest caveat: older third-party write-ups cite a different Curaçao reference, 8048/JAZ (one review gives it as 8048/JAZ2016-065), which belongs to the previous master-licence era. Reviews also mention a Kahnawake Gaming Commission licence as secondary. Licences were being migrated between the two systems, so both can be true at different times. What we could not do is match the OGL number to a public register entry from the sources we could open, which is why you should ask 22Bet for the reference and check it with the regulator yourself. Our beginner's guide to gambling licences explains what these licences do and do not offer.
Third-party reviewers are clear on what 22Bet is not: it is not regulated by the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority. Reviews also list markets where 22Bet does not accept players, including the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Spain and France. If you are in Great Britain, none of the protections in our UKGC licence-check guide, such as slot stake limits, the 10x wagering cap or GamStop, apply here. Check your own country's rules before registering.
The sportsbook
Third-party reviewers describe a large sportsbook. Reported figures, which vary by review and should be treated as claims rather than audited counts, include more than 50 sports, tens of thousands of events a month, and up to several hundred betting markets on top football fixtures. Football markets in review write-ups run from the usual match result, totals and handicaps to correct score, corners, half-time/full-time, player props and outrights. Odds formats reported include decimal, fractional and American.
Esports coverage is a visible strength in reviews, with titles such as CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant and Call of Duty. Virtual sports sit in the casino section.
Live betting, streaming and cash out
Live betting is reported for most sports, built into a live section with statistics for matches without a stream. Streaming is reported where rights allow and cash out is reported on live markets; one review mentions in-play accumulators across ongoing events. These features are commonly region-dependent, so look at the live section for your country before relying on a particular stream.
What the screen shows. The top bar puts Sports, Live, Jackpot, Casino, Bonuses and Esports one tap apart. A left-hand menu lists each sport with a live count: at the moment of capture football showed 104 events, tennis 55, table tennis 48, esports 30, basketball 25, cricket 20 and volleyball 13, with 143 live events in total. Above the match list sit a "with live streams" toggle and an odds-format selector (decimal here), and on the right the bet slip offers one-click betting and a slip code you can save and load. A mobile-apps panel for iOS and Android sits under the slip, and roulette, blackjack and slots tiles lead into the casino. Treat the numbers as a snapshot, not a guarantee.
The casino and the game providers
22Bet states that its lobby covers slots, roulette, blackjack, baccarat, poker, live casino, crash games, Mines, instant games, game shows and virtual sports. Third-party reviews describe a catalogue of several thousand games, with the live casino built on suppliers such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Ezugi.
According to 22Bet, the brand works with more than 160 software providers, with the exact list varying by country. Our own database records 63 of them, and the full partner-supplied list is below for reference.

For context on a few of these studios, see our provider pages for BGaming, Booming and Wazdan, where you can see which of the operators we review list them.
How wide is "wide"? The game lobby in plain terms
A real lobby, localised. The live casino screen shows how the catalogue is organised: a Slots / Live casino switch, quick filters (All, Hot live, New, Favourites, Popular, Roulette) and a "Hindi style" collection of tables with local-language hosts from SA Gaming, ElCasino, Ezugi and Evolution. The banner repeats the welcome package, up to €1,500 plus 150 free spins. It is a good illustration of the earlier caution: the lobby adapts to the market, so the tables and studios you see will not be identical everywhere.
Marketing says "thousands of games". It helps to translate that into what you will actually find, using the categories 22Bet itself lists and the studios on its provider roster.
- Slots, by the thousand. The bulk of the lobby. The roster mixes the big names (Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Hacksaw Gaming, Nolimit City, Big Time Gaming) with a long tail of smaller studios, which is why the same brand can have both familiar hits and games you will not see anywhere else.
- Table games. Roulette, blackjack, baccarat and poker are all listed, with live-dealer versions through the live casino.
- Live casino and game shows. Reviews attribute the live tables to suppliers such as Evolution, Pragmatic Play Live and Ezugi, and 22Bet lists game shows as their own category.
- Crash, Mines and instant games. The fast, single-decision formats that have taken off in the last few years. 22Bet names crash games, Mines and instant games explicitly, and Aviator and Aviatrix both appear on the provider roster.
- Virtual sports and TV games. Virtual sports sit in the casino section; the roster includes specialists such as Golden Race, TVBet and Leap.
Two honest cautions about breadth. First, the provider list varies by country, so the lobby you see may be narrower than the global roster. Second, a bigger lobby is not a better lobby: more games means more variance in return-to-player settings and volatility, and a casino can run the same slot at different RTP settings from one site to the next. Check the game's info panel before you play, and keep a list of the few you like.
Welcome bonuses: what is on offer and how to read it
What the bonuses page adds. The same site lists a sports welcome bonus of 100% up to 10,300 INR, a "Kings of Europe" football promotion where players compete against each other, and a casino welcome package of up to 135,000 INR plus 150 free spins spread across the first four deposits. Tabs split offers into sports, casino, shop and 22Bet specials. The takeaway: the headline casino package is a sequence of four deposits, each with its own terms, so read the conditions for every step rather than only the first.
22Bet's own materials give the headline welcome offers as up to €122 on sports betting and up to €1,500 plus 150 free spins on casino. Both vary by region. Third-party reviews add detail that is worth knowing before you click:
- You choose one at registration. Reviews report that you pick sports or casino when you sign up and cannot claim both.
- The sports offer is a 100% match on the first deposit, reported with a very low minimum deposit (about €1) and a wagering requirement of 5x the bonus, played on accumulators of at least three selections with each at odds of 1.40 or higher.
- The time limit is reported inconsistently, as 7 days in one review and 30 days in another, which is a good example of why you should read the terms in your own account.
- Crypto deposits can disable a claimed bonus, according to one review. Check before you pay with crypto.
- A promo code may exist. 22Bet says a code is available on request through its account managers. We do not publish one here; ask during registration if you want to see whether a code applies.
Before you accept any bonus, find three numbers: the wagering multiple, the maximum bet while wagering and the time limit. Our guide to understanding wagering requirements explains the maths in more depth.
Crypto at 22Bet: how friendly is it really?
Crypto is where 22Bet stands out from most mainstream bookmakers, and it is the one area where our own scoring is also clearly positive: 8.0 out of 10 for crypto support, one of the highest sub-scores on its profile.
What is reported
- Breadth. Third-party reviews describe more than twenty supported coins, naming Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tether, Ripple and Bitcoin Cash.
- Speed. Crypto is the fast lane in every report we read: withdrawals are described as arriving within roughly 15 to 60 minutes once approved, or within 24 hours at the outside, compared with days for cards and bank transfers.
- Our records. 22Bet's cashier is recorded as accepting crypto for both deposits and withdrawals, including XRP and USDT.
What to watch
- Bonuses. One review reports that depositing with crypto can disable a welcome bonus you have claimed. If you want the bonus, check the terms before you pay.
- Networks. The same coin can exist on several networks (USDT on Tron, Ethereum or others). Send on the network the cashier shows, or the deposit can be lost.
- Volatility. A balance held in a coin moves with the market. Many players keep to stablecoins for betting for that reason.
- Verification still applies. Crypto does not remove identity checks; our records show KYC is required.
For how crypto payments work at betting sites in general, and which other operators we review support each coin, see the pages linked above or our crypto betting sites ranking.
Payments and withdrawals
Our CMS records 50 payment methods for 22Bet, among them cards, a large group of e-wallets (Skrill, Neteller, ecoPayz, Jeton and others), bank transfers, cryptocurrencies and regional rails such as UPI, PhonePe and Paytm for India, bKash and Nagad for Bangladesh, Easypaisa and JazzCash for Pakistan, PIX for Brazil and Multibanco for Portugal. A method appearing in a global list does not mean it appears in your cashier; operators show different methods by country.
For speed, here is how the three kinds of source line up. None of these are our own measurements.
| Question | Stated by 22Bet | Third-party reports |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit speed | Instant | Not contested |
| Withdrawal speed | 0 to 48 hours | E-wallets from about 15 minutes to an hour; crypto 15 to 60 minutes or within 24 hours |
| Cards and bank transfer | Within the 0 to 48 hour range | Cards 3 to 5 business days (one FAQ says up to 72 hours); bank transfer 3 to 7 business days |
| First withdrawal | Not stated | An extra 24 to 48 hours is reported while identity is checked |
| Fees | Not stated | No fee from 22Bet; your bank or wallet may charge one |
Read the gap between the columns as the verification step. The headline range is what a verified account might see on a fast method; the slower figures are what third-party reviewers report for slower methods and first-time withdrawals. That is consistent with our own records: identity verification is required, and our editorial withdrawal-speed score for 22Bet is a middling 6.5 out of 10. We have not tested withdrawals ourselves, so we do not give a figure of our own.
Two practical rules from the third-party reports: withdrawals normally have to go back to the method used to deposit, so choose that method with your cash-out in mind, and weekends can delay payment to the next working day.
Where the 7.0 comes from
A Trust Index is only useful if you can see inside it. These are the editorial sub-scores recorded for 22Bet, each out of 10, from our CMS. They are our assessments, not measurements, and were last updated in August 2026.
Read it as a profile, not a verdict: a strong product and wide market footprint, offset by middling payout and complaint-handling scores.
Mobile apps
Third-party reviews report native iOS and Android apps, downloaded from the 22Bet website rather than a mainstream store listing in some regions. One review gives approximate sizes of 45 MB (iOS) and 33 MB (Android APK) and notes that installing the Android file requires allowing installs from unknown sources. That is a standard step for sideloaded apps and a reason to be careful: only download from the operator's own address, which you reach from a link you trust, and never from a link sent to you in a chat.
Support and complaints
Reviews report 24/7 live chat and email support. According to 22Bet, its support structure is split into three channels: technical support, a security service, and complaints and suggestions. Regional support addresses follow a pattern such as [email protected], with other language codes depending on the region. As a rule, complain to the operator first in writing, keep the transcript, and escalate to the licensing authority if the issue is not resolved.
Responsible gambling
22Bet lists betting limits as its responsible-gambling tool. One independent review describes a wider set (deposit, session and reality-check tools, cooling-off and self-exclusion); we could not confirm that against 22Bet's own materials, so check your account's responsible-gambling settings before you deposit and set a limit you can afford. Note that GamStop only applies to UK-licensed operators and does not cover 22Bet. If gambling is causing you problems, GambleAware offers free support.
Is 22Bet legal where you live?
This is a separate question from "is it legit", and a licence does not answer it. A Curaçao licence authorises the operator under Curaçao law; it does not make the site authorised in your country. Local rules decide that, and they differ widely and change often.
- Where 22Bet does not accept players. Third-party reviews list the United Kingdom, the United States, the Netherlands, Australia, Germany, Spain and France among the markets it does not serve. Our own availability records for 22Bet currently cover one market, Nepal.
- Where the rules are unclear or restrictive. Several countries we cover treat betting sites licensed abroad as unregulated or restricted. Read the country page for yours before registering.
Our country pages summarise the regulator, the status as we last verified it, and the operators we record for each market: India, Nepal, Brazil, Canada, Morocco, Cameroon, Côte d'Ivoire and the United Kingdom. If your country is not listed, the full country index is the place to start.
Rule of thumb: if you cannot find a clear statement that online betting with this kind of operator is permitted where you live, do not assume that a foreign licence covers you.
Who 22Bet may suit, and who should look elsewhere
It may suit you if
- You want a very broad payment menu, including crypto and regional wallets.
- You want sportsbook and casino under one account, with a large catalogue of studios.
- You follow esports or want deep football markets.
- You are comfortable completing identity verification up front.
Look elsewhere if
- You are in Great Britain and want UKGC protections.
- You want a regulator with a long enforcement record behind the licence; the new Curaçao regime is still young.
- You need guaranteed fast payouts with no verification step.
A seven-point checklist before your first deposit
- Ask support for the licence reference and confirm it with the regulator.
- Confirm your country is not excluded in the terms.
- Complete verification before depositing more than a small amount.
- Pick a deposit method that can also receive withdrawals.
- Read the bonus terms, or decline the bonus.
- Set a betting limit in your account settings.
- Test a small withdrawal early, before you need the money.
FAQ
Is 22Bet safe?
It is safer than an unlicensed site and less protected than a UK- or Malta-licensed one. Use it with the usual precautions: verify early, use a unique password, set a betting limit and never share codes or PINs.
Is 22Bet legit?
Yes, in the sense that a real company (TechSolutions Group N.V.) operates it under a Curaçao licence that our records hold on file. It is not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission or the Malta Gaming Authority, so its outside oversight is lighter than a UK or EU bookmaker's.
Is 22Bet licensed?
Our records show a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence, number OGL/2024/590/0758, through TechSolutions Group N.V. Third-party sources also cite an older Curaçao reference. Verify the current licence with the operator and the regulator.
Is 22Bet available in the UK?
No. Reviews list the UK among the markets 22Bet does not accept, and it has no UK Gambling Commission licence on file. UK-facing operators must be licensed by the Commission.
What is the 22Bet welcome bonus?
According to 22Bet, up to €122 on sports betting or up to €1,500 plus 150 free spins on casino, varying by region. You choose one at registration. Read the wagering and time limit in your own account before accepting.
How fast are 22Bet withdrawals?
22Bet states 0 to 48 hours. Third-party reviews report e-wallet and crypto payouts within minutes to hours, cards and bank transfers in days, and an extra delay while first withdrawals are verified. We have not tested withdrawals ourselves.
Does 22Bet require identity verification?
Yes. Our records show KYC is required, and reviews report that first or larger withdrawals can trigger a verification review.
How many game providers does 22Bet work with?
22Bet states more than 160, varying by country. Our database records 63.
Is 22Bet real?
Yes. It is an operating brand run by TechSolutions Group N.V. since 2017, with a working sportsbook, casino and cashier. It is not a clone or a phishing site, provided you reach it through its genuine address and not a look-alike link from a chat message.
Is 22Bet a scam?
We found no evidence that 22Bet is a scam in the sense of taking deposits and never paying. Reviews do report friction at verification, and complaints about delays are the main theme. We have not tested withdrawals ourselves, and no site should be trusted with more than you can afford to lose.
Is 22Bet trusted?
Trust is a judgment, so here are the inputs: a 7.0 / 10 Trust Index on our scale, a Curaçao licence on file, a long operating history and a wide payment menu, offset by lighter regulation and a middling 6.5 for withdrawal speed and 6.0 for complaint response.
Does 22Bet pay out?
Third-party reviews report that it pays out once identity is verified, with e-wallet and crypto withdrawals reported as the fast routes. 22Bet states 0 to 48 hours. Expect an extra delay on a first withdrawal.
Why is my 22Bet withdrawal pending?
The common reasons are identity verification that is not finished, a withdrawal method that differs from your deposit method, an unfinished bonus wagering requirement, or a weekend. Check your account's verification status first, then contact support with your transaction ID.
Is 22Bet legal in my country?
It depends on your national and local law, not on 22Bet's Curaçao licence. See the section above and the country pages linked there, and do not rely on any site, including ours, as legal advice.
Is the 22Bet app safe?
Reviews report apps that are downloaded from the 22Bet website rather than a mainstream store. Install only from the operator's genuine address, never from a link sent in a chat, and be aware that Android installs from outside the Play Store need extra permission.
