Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in the following ways:

• Automatically, as you browse: pages viewed, links clicked, approximate location derived from your IP address (typically country/city level, used to show country-relevant content — see Section 3), browser and device type, referring site, and similar technical data.
• Through cookies and similar technologies: to remember preferences (such as your selected country/market and dismissed notices), keep a compare list, and measure traffic — see Section 3 for the specific cookies and trackers we use.
• Directly from you: if you submit our contact form (name, email address, the category and content of your message, and, optionally, how you found us) or sign up for our newsletter (email address).

We do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to browse this site, compare operators, or read reviews and guides.

2. Cookies & Similar Technologies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use a few categories:

• Strictly necessary: keep the site functioning — for example, remembering your selected country/market so it doesn’t reset as you browse, and tracking which notices you’ve dismissed. The site cannot work properly without these.
• Analytics: we use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, general location, device type) so we can improve it.
• Advertising / measurement: where configured, we use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run. This can involve sharing limited browsing data with Meta — see Meta’s own privacy policy for how it uses that data.
• Affiliate tracking: when you click a “Visit Site” or similar link to a gambling operator, that link carries a tracking identifier so the operator (or their affiliate network) can credit the referral to us. Clicking that link takes you to the operator’s own site, which sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy — not this one.

Honest note on consent: this site does not currently show a cookie-consent banner with granular accept/reject controls. You can block or delete cookies through your own browser settings at any time (this may affect how parts of the site work, such as remembering your country), and you can opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s own browser opt-out or of Meta’s ad tracking through Meta’s ad settings. We do not currently respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• • operate the site and show you content relevant to your country/market;
• • understand which content is useful and improve the site;
• • respond to messages sent through our contact form;
• • send newsletter emails to subscribers who opt in, each with an unsubscribe link;
• • measure and, where applicable, improve the performance of our own advertising; and
• • detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (EEA/UK Visitors)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your information on these legal bases: legitimate interests (operating and improving the site, fraud prevention, and responding to enquiries you initiate); consent (newsletter emails, and any advertising cookies where your local law requires opt-in consent before we set them); and contract where we’re taking steps at your request (for example, responding to a message you sent us). You can withdraw consent at any time — unsubscribe from the newsletter using the link in any email, or contact us to ask us to stop other consent-based processing.

5. How We Share Information

We share information with:

• Service providers who process data on our behalf: Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), Vercel (hosting and content delivery), Resend (delivering contact-form confirmations and newsletter emails), and Google (Analytics and Tag Manager).
• Advertising partners, limited to Meta, where the advertising pixel described in Section 2 is active.
• Gambling operators or their affiliate networks, but only the tracking identifier described in Section 2, and only when you click through to their site — we do not send them your name, email, or contact-form messages.
• Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or harm.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share your contact-form or newsletter details with gambling operators.

6. International Data Transfers

Our service providers (Section 5) may process and store data in countries other than the one you’re browsing from, including the United States. Where required by applicable law, we rely on those providers’ own data-transfer safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for transfers out of the EEA or UK.

7. Data Retention

We keep contact-form submissions and newsletter subscriptions for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, operate the newsletter, or meet legal and accounting obligations, and delete or anonymise them when no longer needed. Analytics data is retained according to the relevant provider’s own default retention settings (for example, Google Analytics’ standard retention window) unless we’ve configured it otherwise.

8. Your Privacy Rights

If you are in the EEA or UK (GDPR / UK GDPR), you have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information, to object to or request restriction of certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are a California resident (CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information — which can include the kind of advertising-pixel data described in Section 2. We don’t currently operate a dedicated “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” page; you can exercise the equivalent choice using the Google and Meta opt-out links in Section 2, or by contacting us. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Wherever you are, you can contact us using the details in Section 12 to ask what information we hold about you or to request its deletion, and we will respond to the extent required by the law that applies to you.

9. Children’s Privacy

This site concerns gambling operators and is not directed at, or intended for use by, anyone under the legal gambling or majority age in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

10. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls on our database — to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices change. The “Effective” date above reflects the most recent revision; material changes will be reflected there.
