Withdrawal times: the industry mostly doesn’t publish them

Only 3 of 573 operator-payment-method relationships we track (0.5%) carry a verified, sourced processing-time figure. This isn’t a gap in our own research effort — we went looking for it directly. Checking each operator’s own official terms and help pages (never third-party affiliate sites, which circulate figures that don’t trace back to any operator’s actual published policy), the large majority either state no processing time at all or make it inaccessible behind bot-blocked or JavaScript-only pages. A "15 minutes to 2 hours" claim you see repeated across dozens of casino review sites is, in most cases, not something the operator itself actually states anywhere public.

Most operators we track are offshore-licensed

Of the 19 operators with at least one license on file, 15 (79%) hold only offshore licenses (e.g. Curaçao) rather than a tier-one regulator like the UK Gambling Commission or Malta Gaming Authority. Just 3 hold an established or top-tier license. An offshore license is real and does mean the operator is a registered legal entity — it just means meaningfully lighter regulatory oversight and less formal recourse if a dispute arises. One operator can hold more than one license, so authority counts don’t need to sum to 19.

Payment method coverage

11 of 24 operators (46%) we track support at least one cryptocurrency for deposits or withdrawals, out of 30 individual cryptocurrencies we track sitewide. Crypto-first operators typically publish faster, more specific withdrawal-time commitments than traditional payment methods — see the previous section. Across every payment type we track:

Trust Score distribution

Across the 24 operators we track, the average Trust Score is 7.46/10. 6 score 8.0 or above, 18 fall between 6.0 and 7.9, and 0 score below 6.0. Trust Score itself is the weighted average of up to 15 independently-scored dimensions (see our methodology) — on average, we have 14.5 of those 15 dimensions (97%) actually scored per operator, rather than left blank.

Support and loyalty features

6 of 24 operators we track are documented as offering live chat support, and 6 of 24 have a documented VIP or loyalty program. Both figures reflect what we’ve actively verified and recorded — the underlying field defaults to "no" until an editor confirms otherwise, so these numbers undercount rather than overstate real support, if anything.

Bonus terms vary widely

Across the 4 published bonuses we have a verified wagering requirement for, the figure ranges from 20x to 45x, averaging 28.8x. A player choosing between two offers with similar headline value can face a real difference in how achievable the bonus actually is depending on which operator they pick. Of 16 published bonuses in total, 5 (31%) are exclusive to AskBigBonus rather than available directly from the operator. (Small sample for the wagering range specifically — this reflects bonuses we’ve verified a wagering figure for, not every offer on the market.)

How old are the operators we track?

Founding years range from 2007 to 2026, with a median of 2021, across the 23 operators with a verified founding year on file. Online gambling as a licensed, mainstream industry is young enough that even our oldest tracked operators are newer than most consumer brands players already trust in other categories.

Every figure on this page is computed live from AskBigBonus’s own tracked database of 24 actively published operators — not a one-time survey, so the numbers update as our own research does. License tier and authority data comes from our licensing authorities reference table; withdrawal-time figures are sourced only from an operator’s own official terms or help pages, never third-party affiliate content. Two boolean fields we deliberately excluded from this report (SSL encryption use, KYC requirement) default to "yes" in our system for every new operator record and haven’t yet been individually re-verified per operator, so reporting them here would overstate our actual confidence — we’d rather leave a stat out than publish one we can’t stand behind.
