Our Review

Editor’s verdict

MogoBet is ProgressPlay’s all-rounder: casino, live casino, bingo and a sportsbook with in-play betting and cash-out, plus the widest payment list of the four brands. Fully licensed, but the operator’s 2025 UKGC fine and reported verification delays are worth weighing.

MogoBet is the most complete of the ProgressPlay brands we cover. Where Spinzwin, Bluefox and Monster Casino are casino-led, MogoBet combines a large casino and live casino with bingo and a sportsbook, so one account and one wallet cover slots, roulette and a Saturday accumulator.

Casino and sportsbook

The casino portfolio is described as running to more than 2,500 games from established providers. On the betting side the sportsbook covers the major sports and includes in-play betting, a bet builder, live statistics and cash-out. Cash-out and live betting are the two features that separate a proper sportsbook from a token one, and having both in the same account as the casino is the main reason to choose MogoBet over its siblings.

Payments

MogoBet has the longest payment list of the four brands in our data: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, Paysafecard, Trustly, ecoPayz, Zimpler and several regional methods including Interac and UPI. Availability is set by your country, so treat the list as the maximum. Review-site write-ups report that every withdrawal goes through a 24-hour review before it is processed, that funds can then take up to several days to reach a bank account, and that a 1% fee capped at £3 applies. Confirm these in the cashier; they are the type of term that gets revised.

Offers and account rules

The casino welcome offer is reported as a deposit match with free spins carrying 10x wagering, and the sportsbook offers a free bet after a qualifying wager, with a low rollover on the bonus and a cap on winnings. Offers vary by market and are revised often, so read the live terms rather than relying on any review, including this one. One recurring complaint in customer feedback is free bets or bonuses being refused because the player had already claimed at another ProgressPlay brand. The brands share a licence and platform, so treat them as one operator when it comes to welcome offers.

Licensing: one operator, two regulators

MogoBet is a white-label brand run by ProgressPlay Limited, a Malta-registered company (C58305). ProgressPlay holds a Malta Gaming Authority business-to-consumer licence, MGA/B2C/231/2012, and a Great Britain licence from the UK Gambling Commission under account number 39335. We checked the second on the Gambling Commission’s public register: MogoBet appears there among the white-label domains listed under ProgressPlay’s account. The licence therefore belongs to ProgressPlay rather than to the brand itself, which matters if you ever need to name the licensee in a complaint. The register lists the company’s head office in Limassol, Cyprus, even though the licensed company is registered in Malta.

A regulatory record worth reading before you deposit

The Gambling Commission has taken enforcement action against ProgressPlay twice. In 2022 the company paid £175,718 over social responsibility and anti-money-laundering failings. In August 2025 the Commission announced a further £1 million penalty covering the period from August 2021 to August 2024. It cited weak money-laundering risk assessment, inadequate checks on customers’ source of funds and shortcomings in how the company interacted with customers showing signs of harm. The regulator also opened a licence review and required a third-party audit of ProgressPlay’s compliance processes. The company said it has since invested in player-protection technology, a dedicated team and staff training. None of this means your money is at risk today, and the operator remains fully licensed. It does mean that ProgressPlay’s brands can be stricter than you expect about source-of-funds questions and affordability checks, and we account for that in how we read the licence score.

How MogoBet scores with us

MogoBet’s Trust Score is 7.79 out of 10, the highest of the four ProgressPlay brands we review, although the gap is small. It scores 9.0 for licensing and responsible gambling, 8.5 for security, 8.0 for support, website quality, transparency and mobile experience, and 7.0 for withdrawal speed, complaint response and KYC ease. The mixed customer feedback on verification speed is reflected in that 7.0. See the full breakdown in the Trust Index.

Who it suits

MogoBet suits UK players who want casino and sports betting in one account and value a wide choice of payment methods. If you are sensitive to verification delays, or you have already claimed offers on other ProgressPlay sites, expect friction and read the terms closely.

How to check the licence yourself

Search for account number 39335 on the Gambling Commission’s public register and confirm the brand’s domain appears under ProgressPlay Limited. For the Malta licence, the Malta Gaming Authority publishes a licensee register you can search by company name. Do this before your first deposit; it takes a couple of minutes.

How this bonus works

A one-time offer for new players, usually credited after your first deposit.

  1. The operator matches your deposit at 100%, up to a maximum bonus of £/€/$200.
  2. We don't have a wagering requirement on file for this offer — that is the single biggest factor in whether a bonus is worth claiming, so confirm it on the operator's own terms page before you deposit.
  3. Bonus funds are usually kept separate from your own deposited money, and withdrawing before wagering is complete typically forfeits the bonus and its winnings — always the case worth checking in the full terms.
